NNHNM (ger)

Berlin-based duo NNHMN craft dark electronic music that lives in the shadows between post-punk, experimental electronics, and techno. Built around haunted synthesizers, brooding rhythms, and stark, ritualistic vocals, their sound is cold yet deeply emotive—music that pulses with tension while remaining hypnotic and intimate. Drawing inspiration from New Brutalist theatre, underground club culture, and minimal wave traditions, NNHMN create songs that feel like fragments of a larger dystopian narrative.

Formed by Lee and Michal Laudarg, the project has steadily built a strong following through relentless touring and a reputation for intense live performances. Their music is sparse but deliberate, allowing atmosphere and mood to take center stage. Echoing drum machines, metallic textures, and spectral melodies frame vocals that feel both distant and confrontational, reinforcing the duo’s fascination with alienation, control, and emotional restraint.

NNHMN have performed extensively across Europe and beyond, playing clubs and festivals in Berlin, Seoul, New York City, Montreal, Madrid, and Barcelona, among others. Their ability to translate their studio precision into a raw live setting has made them a favorite among alternative and underground festival programmers worldwide.

Grauzone audiences will remember NNHMN from their powerful performance at the festival in 2022. We are thrilled to welcome them back this year, this time in a special location, where their shadowy electronics and minimalist intensity can unfold in a new spatial context. NNHMN’s return feels both familiar and renewed—an evolution of a sound that continues to sharpen its edges while remaining deeply atmospheric. We are proud to have them back at Grauzone.
