Plonki (NL)

plonki is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Pleun Stork. With a compelling live band and a unique sound, she steps into her own artistic spotlight as plonki. Inspired by artists like Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Big Thief, plonki blends raw guitars, dreamy vocals, surprising structures, and deep grooves into an immersive mix of indie, psych, and alt-rock. Her lyrics explore themes of disconnection, desire, and emotional loops — with poetic undertones and a balance between vulnerability and emotional release. After releasing a string of singles, plonki’s debut EP kicking at my heels drops on September 5th. The six-song project is held together by its emotional depth, sonic contrasts, and a push to break through cycles of inner tension.
